As of late, the South African Reserve Bank has had to make some tough decisions in regards to our interest rate. Increased credit spending and a possible US recession are two issues at the root of our current interest rate problems. In addition, our major trade deficit plus the falling value of the rand is amongst other factors being taken into account.

The ML350 and the Chrysler Voyager were both options for me, having the requisite Sedan styling’s and four-door option I desired. I needed a car that would not only look stylish for my business meetings, but could also be comfortable and safely transport my family. The rental process was quick and painless. I hopped online and selected the ML350 for a two-week rental, at a cost of less than $190.00 per day! The car was dropped off outside my business, the papers were signed and I was on my way. The two weeks went by in the blink of an eye. Shortly after the ML350 was picked up, I instantly went online and booked the Chrysler for a two-week period as well. Both vehicles performed very well and it was a tough decision in terms of which to purchase; but in the end, the Chrysler won me over.

Without a doubt, auto rental in the light of the rocketing interest rates is a safe bet. Before diving in to a large-scale purchase, I made the smart choice and tested my vehicle before deciding on it. Even if you are only renting for the weekend or a couple of days, auto rental is a painless way to drive the car you have always desired.
